A typical eight to ten week project provides enough time to truly delve into a subject but not grow bored, as I have to start the entire process anew and master another topic with each assignment. In addition, with each project comes a new team (typically two to four people) and project manager, which enables me to learn to work with a variety of managerial styles. I think this is a critical skill to learn, particularly as a recent college grad. Further, I have learned how to adapt to change, how to communicate effectively, and how to ask questions when I do not understand something.
